9am
Meet at 501 Aurora to carpool up flagstaff.

Arrive at the top of Flagstaff for the EASY Hike
Guided by longtime colleague and friend, Veronica Vaida.
An easy walk with multiple paths to accommodate any ability level.
This was Josef's final hike, just before departing. It offers excellent views, so take your time.

MEDIUM Hikers return to the cars and continue about ten minutes further up Flagstaff Road.
For about 2 hours, Jenda will take the medium hikers on the quintessential Josef hike.
He did a longer version of this just last year.
There will be no trail to follow, only the the refrain, "when in doubt, go up". We will hike to 4 rock overlooks with stunning views in all directions, and then pick our way down. Jenda scouted the hike a week in advance and recommends boots that you have hiked in before, with good soles. He hopes his new blister heals in time. Bring water and sunscreen. Perhaps an apple, salami, and some dark chocolate too, Josef would have.

It is preserved as he left it, and you are welcome to relax and enjoy good company in his home. To be like him, you should be sure to do some emailing.
Please also choose some belongings to take home with you, so that a bit of Josef can live on with you. Items with colored tags are not available. If there's no tag, there's a great chance I'll be happy to let you take it. Think of it as an estate give-away. Many of Sara's and Gina's things are available as well. Ask before you take though, please.

Enjoy the sunset over the continental divide from Barney Ellison and Sally Sullivan's beautiful home. They are generously hosting a final farewall evening with cheese, baguettes, wine, Pilsner Urquell and some limited appetizers. If you want a more significant dinner, please eat prior to arriving.
Parking is LIMITED, so rideshare instead with Lyft, Uber, or your nearest friend.
